West Coast Code Consultants, Inc.  – WC³ is currently accepting resumes for qualified Permit Technicians with a minimum of two years’ experience; ICC certification as a Permit Technician preferred.  

Permit Technician duties will include, but are not limited to: processing permit applications, receiving plans, calculating fees, interacting and directing the public at the counter and over the phone, reviewing forms for completeness and accuracy.

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have an ability to read plans, knowledge of the basic code, a working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, as well as the ability to multi-task and prioritize.  Excellent oral and written communication skills are necessary.  Please note past experience working with existing commercially available software used by jurisdictions such as CRW TRAKiT, Accela, Permits Plus, Gov Partner, etc.
