JOB DESCRIPTION:

West Coast Code Consultants, Inc. (WC³) offers plan review, inspection, and staff augmentation services in the building, fire, civil, and energy disciplines. Our firm serves local, state, and federal agencies with a Corporate Office based in San Ramon, California, and 9 additional Regional/Satellite Offices located throughout the United States. We are a steadily growing company seeking a Proposal Marketing Coordinator to work within our Layton, Utah office.

This position will work under WC³’s Marketing Manager and will support both marketing and business development efforts performing a variety of functions to assist strategic company pursuits. This includes the primary responsibility of the development, production, and management of proposals; as well as assisting, when necessary, with social media management and digital/print communication materials across multiple disciplines and company product lines—including the WC³ Academy and eProcess360. Candidates shall possess excellent written and verbal communication skills; a positive attitude; a strong work ethic; a sense of professionalism; and an ability to work within a team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  •  Monitor government, agency, and client websites and databases for potential contracting opportunities; notify management of relative opportunities; and obtain decisions on whether to pursue these contracting opportunities.
  • Coordinate proposal efforts, including working collaboratively with the Marketing Manager and Client Managers to develop proposals and required materials from start to finish. Facilitate the submittal of final proposal package in a timely manner.
  • Assist in maintaining internal marketing resources and libraries of written materials, project descriptions, resumes, licenses/certifications, imagery, and graphics, covering all proposals past and present.
  • Execute basic desktop publishing to create graphics, perform photo editing for proposals and presentations, update brochures, print advertisements, online postings, and website graphics.
  • Basic writing and editing of copy for proposals, case studies, blog posts, social media posts, company newsletters, marketing email campaigns, and product brochures.
  • Help maintain social media calendar and release dates for recurring posts across the company’s social media platforms. Assist in the design, placement, and tracking of social media posts.
  • Coordinate marketing activities to support industry exhibitor trade shows as well as regional marketing outreach programs. Work with vendors for the production and distribution of promotional and branded materials.
  • Ensure all marketing and communications materials comply with the Company’s brand guidelines and assist with brand-building efforts across the Company as a whole.
  • Assist with various other tasks and assignments as necessary.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or working towards a degree) in Communications, Marketing, English, or related field required.
  • Experience with writing, editing, design/layout, print and electronic communications.
  • Experience with AEC (architecture/engineering/construction), or consulting-based companies is a plus!
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat), as well as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with WordPress is a plus.
  • Flexible working under multiple disciplines and product lines, as well as managers and teams located in other offices and/or regions.
  • Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong grammar, spelling, composition, formatting, and proofreading abilities.
  • Strong communication proficiency (verbal, written, and presentation).
  • A high degree of professional discretion, integrity, and judgment.
  • Professional appearance.

SALARY:

  • $40K – $70K / Annually, Depending on Experience
